Oakville House

Our client wished to renovate her kitchen.  Her brief was that she wanted as much as possible an ‘invisible’ kitchen—she did not want to see any obvious cabinetry, door handles, or projections with appliances.  We designed the cabinetry as one continuous millwork piece which wrapped around the kitchen with a flush profile for appliances, sinks, and a built-in bench.  We also proposed a ceiling detail with white porcelain ‘fins’ in a recessed alcove in the ceiling, made by one of sculptural artists we worked with on KiWe Kitchen.
